Kildare County Council is delighted to announce that a new fund of €25,000 is available for Climate Change Innovation projects that benefit the Celbridge and Leixlip Municipal District. This is a great opportunity for communities, businesses, professionals and the general public to come together on Climate Action.
The fund is being made available to encourage collaboration and innovative projects. There is no fixed limit set per application for this fund which means that one project, that shows significant innovation, readiness and collaboration across the whole MD could be awarded the full €25,000.
Applicants should however consider scoping their projects to allow for multiple high impact projects to be supported and therefore a minimum of €5,000 per project proposal will also be applied. All initiatives should be deliverable within one year of the funding being allocated or sooner. Therefore, projects should be ready to commence in early 2021.
