The Green Forum is to provide a platform for communities to mobilise and connect for Climate Action. This Privacy Policy document describes how the Green Forum collects and uses the personal information you provide. It also describes the choices available to you regarding our use of your personal information and how you can access and update this information.

 

 

The Green Forum (Forum) collects personal information from you in the following ways:

  • Directly from your written input and through interaction with the Forum
  • Through our website.
  • When you subscribe to receiving our  emails, event alerts and newsletters.
  • Through event registration.

 

The Forum  uses your personal information to contact you and deliver the functions of this platform. We retain a record of your personal information in order to provide you with a high quality and consistent service. We will always retain your personal information in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and personal data shall be kept for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it is being processed.

You can review and make changes to your information and email subscription list preferences at any time in your Forum account.

 

Your information will only be accessible by members of the Forum for the purposes of contacting you with regard to events, or providing you with information that you require, or general communications related to the activities of the Forum. The Forum will not share your personal information with any unaffiliated third parties. However, we may share your personal information with other organisations If the law requires.

Any data transferred will be limited to necessity, anonymised where possible and encrypted when transferred. Any sharing of data will be subject to separate Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) with recipients.

By submitting your personal information, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing of your information. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your personal information is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and GDPR regulations.
 

 

The Forum will use appropriate physical, technical and administrative safeguards to protect your data. Access to your personal data will be restricted to only those who need to know that information and require it to perform their job function.

 

The Forum only uses necessary cookies to support the normal functioning of the platform. Tracking cookies are not used.
